Late Cancellation or Failure to Attend Policy
I have a cancellation or failure to attend policy which requires that a minimum of 24 hours notice be given for all cancellations.
This helps to;
· Give support to clients currently on the waiting list;
· Avoid unnecessary time spent on preparation of goals and resources for your cancelled appointment;
· Cover the cost of overheads.
If you cancel your appointment, with 24 hours or more notice, no fees will be charged.
Should you, in any instance, cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of your session fee will be charged to you. This is required within 3 days. It is not claimable through Medicare or through your private health insurance.
