Vicki Hallion
I have worked as a Midwife in the private hospital system for the past 30 years in the Southern suburbs of Perth. I completed my Hospital based training at Fremantle Hospital and my Midwifery training at King Edward Memorial Hospital.
During my working life, I have helped hundreds women make the demanding and somewhat daunting transition into the role of motherhood by providing care for women from the early stages of pregnancy to well into the 1st year post birth. Over sixteen years ago I qualified with the International Board of Lactation Consultants.
Often a lack of reliable information and support can reduce women's choices but ultimately, mothers need consistency to reduce stress and anxiety, allowing for informed choice.
I have been heavily involved in both Antenatal Education and Post natal support by debriefing via group and individual encounters.
